I used to be amazed at how little attention multi-core programming was getting.  But in the last year or two the attention factor has become exponential.  All the major chip manufactures are doing their best to educate the masses on how to write software on multiple core systems. Intel has started a multi-core programming training in India.  This kind of underscores what we have been saying from the beginning, to build applications that use multiple cores effectively, programmers have to either learn a new methodology, or use a framework like DataRush.  I love it when our ideas are validated by the rest of the world!
